    You’d think for such a small town, food options would be limited, but there’s no shortage of cuisines served here! We are foodies at heart, and have yet to have a bad meal.

  • DIVING & FISHING

    The ocean is our playground and we love to sustainably fish (and eat), right from our backyard, Kite Beach.

  • Surfing

    Surfing on the North Coast is a paradise for wave riders, with warm waters and consistent swells. With a gentle shore break for beginners and more challenging reefs for the pros- there’s something here for everyone.

  • PADDLEBOARDING

    One of our favorite morning or no-wind activities! Explore the ocean on a SUP, while practicing your balancing skills!

  • The Kite Kingdom

    Horse Back Riding

    One of our favorite things to do is horsebacking riding with” our friend Tommy’s ranch! Explore the lush countryside, and winding river, that is inaccessible with a vehicle! (No previous riding experience needed)

  • REPELLING WATERFALLS

    An immersive jungle experience, after a short hike up, you get to slide or jump down various waterfalls with crystal clear waters and natural limestone slides.

the Caribbean’s worst kept secret

The running joke (but it’s not really a joke) when you ask anyone how they ended up in Cabarete is “I came for vacation and I never left”. This magnetic “swimsuits and flip flops meets bachata and meringue” coastal town in the Dominican Republic attracts adventure seekers and relaxation enthusiasts alike. With waves, chop, and flat water spots, you can master the art of wind and water sports - from kitesurfing to winging to surfing to paddleboarding. Or, you can do some epic people watching while lazing on the beach.

As the sun sets, the Cabarete fun doesn’t stop: latin music ringing out anywhere you go, and a range of beachfront bars and restaurants, with ridiculously good food for you to enjoy!

For how small this town is, it uniquely has it all: the laid back vibes of a beach town, a party culture (even the gas stations turn into parties!), and some of the best athletic abilities on display that you’ll ever witness.
